About Me

Isabella Bernstein is a journalist specializing in arts, pop culture and criticism. She has worked as a Living/Arts correspondent at the Boston Globe. She currently works as the acting editor in chief for the arts and culture publication The Avenue Magazine, as well as a staff writer and critic at the music publication Tastemakers Magazine, contributing opinion writer at The Huntington News, and a freelance writer at UnHerd. She has reported on everything from AI companionship bots, to the fine dining industry, to literary horror, to pop music. 

She has also worked as a photographer for The Avenue. She won several silver key awards for amateur photography between 2020 and 2022, as well as has been a featured exhibiting artist at the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art in 2022.

In her free time, Isabella enjoys reading magical realism, cooking, watching movies, play tennis, and using the oxford comma when doing personal, non-AP Style writing.
